The original movie track from ‘Janaka Saha Manju’ from 1978. Perhaps the master of suspense of Sri Lanka cinema KAW Perera’s poignant tale. Pundit Amaradeva’s dimunitive voice blended with maestro Khemadasa’s music this is one of the best songs from the movie. KAW’s son Jayanthadas Perera and Gothami Pathiraja act as young lovers from two ends of the spectrum. Late Upali Attanayake gives one of his best performances as an actor in this 1970s movie too.
